For anyone who knows me well, I have a very passionate love for the city of Los Angeles. I am here right now, in the county in the San Gabriel Valley. But alas, poor my sorrow be, I shall depart tomorrow at the strike of noon.
More details of my stressful, but should have been blissful day, shall appear later. Perhaps on the morrow.
Why I am speaking like Bill Shakespeare right now, I have no idea. Sorry kids.
Anyhow, I am flying back to San Jose in the Silicon Valley tomorrow, and nothing makes me more sad. I hate to leave here, especially after only being here a day.
BUT...........................
What makes me happy is knowing my Dad is coming to visit me on Saturday!!! And yes, we will be truckin’ down to the L.B.C. (not on a mission to find Mr. Warren G) for a few days. Can we say beach and ocean?
Anyhow, the remains of my venting regarding my day from hell will come soon. Until then, you’ll just have to wait. I’m at the the step-grandparents house, and I need to spend a little family time with them :)

ONE DAY AND A WAKE UP!
And then I will spend an all too short weekend in LA with family. I know it sounds like a broken record, but yes, I am excited, so I will go ahead and keep repeating myself :)
I am pretty sure it was last Wednesday, so I will go ahead and announce happily that I have quit smoking for a whole week now! I am quite proud of myself for it too!

Boo-ya!
Yup, I'm still stoked and anxious about my upcoming trip to L.A. I have been cleaning my apartment in an attempt to keep my mind off cigarettes. And of course I want to come home from my short little vacation to a clean house. I hate cleaning first thing when I get home. Takes away from the whole concept of rest and reminiscence.
Anyhow, I have had a surprisingly busy day at work so far. Went to the prosthetics department with one of my patients and learned some things about the subject. Very interesting place indeed/ People that work in prosthetics have a wonderful job, and I am sure not one of them goes home unsatisfied with the work they do each day. Neat stuff.
4 days and a wake up for L.A. Next is the countdown when my Dad gets in town on the 15th of next month! WOOT!

6 days and a wake up!
Woot! Gonna be in LA next weekend with the family, and I can't wait!
As a family, we're going to visit the La Brea Tar Pits, made famous in that wonderful B-movie style action packed "Volcano" with Tommy Lee Jones.
And for myself, I will be visiting Covina, CA, the next town over from where I'll be staying with the step-folks. The sci-fi nerd in me (along with the overall nerdiness of my step-dad,Dave)have to go see the sighst of where one of my favorite TV shows was filmed: Roswell!

Obviously, I will post pics of my own, but until then, I can only find joy in occupying my time with image searches from the internet as I try to prevent my own slow and painful death from boredom at work on a Saturday.....

11 Days and a WAKE UP!
That's right! And then I will get to enjoy L.A. for a few days with my family. I can't wait. I have no idea what we will be doing collectively as a family, but I am just happy to be seeing them soon.
I'm not happy to be at work today. I want to be back in my apartment in bed :(
