Another blizzard today. That makes around 16 or 17 now, and it's only March! Hopefully when April hits this snow business can go away. The storm going on right now isn't predicted to dissipate until 1 AM. No taxis are running, no police are patrolling either.
If you were here, you would understand all the frustration that everyone in Nome is feeling. I am secretly freaking out that weather won't allow my sister to come in on Wednesday, but I am hoping and praying for flyable weather.
Wind is blowing up to 60 MPH (not exaggerating) and snow won't stop blowing. It's hard to believe that only 4 inches will fall altogether, since the snow is drifting up high enough to cover the windows in the hospital.
Hopefully, this will all stop and tomorrow will be a 'normal' day...

Wow. Hey, let me know if your sis gets stuck in Anchorage, I can take her out for something to eat and see some of the city, if she has time.
